Hello, I’m Michael,
Global Design Leader and Strategist.

Currently, I work at 3M in the Global Healthcare Business group, where I partner with cross-functional teams to plan, identify and develop unique 3M Brand & Product experiences from start to launch. I work with the Business Leadership team to set design direction, strategies and design processes on multiple program fronts across divisions. I have a passion for Strategy and front end innovation, looking to solve the toughest problems through a collaborative and measured approach towards long term platform growth.

Prior to 3M, I ran a consultancy in Chicago, working primarily in the CPG field developing designs for market for many name brand companies. I’ve development numerous high-performance products ranging from medical devices, to food safety, pharmaceutical and consumer goods. 

My 18+ years of experience has taught me a great deal about people, myself and the opportunities it can open while continuing to fuel my passion for Design. I earned a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois (Urbana/Champaign) and a Masters in Product Design and Development from Northwestern University.
